I wanted to blog about all of the people (mostly guys) behind Taylor Swift’s songs before but haven’t found a time to blog about it. So now, with Nikka’s request, I’ll blog about it (This is going to be a long blog). :)
1. Tim McGraw was written by Taylor Swift when she was in her freshman year…
Date a man who dreams.
Date a man who doesn’t spend his money on drink, or clothes, or video games, but saves what he has to go on adventures and pursue his dreams. He might have problems dealing with everyday things but no-one sees the possibilities life holds like he does. This is a man who…
Rest in peace, Madiba
This morning, I simultaneously heard in the early morning news and saw on Facebook that a man named Nelson Mandela had just passed away. Honestly, i did not know a thing about who Nelson Mandela is. Well, maybe i did know that he was a former president of South Africa, but beyond that, there is nothing more I can say.
Then i asked my mom “What did he do? Why is his name all over the news? Do former presidents get reported on the news this often?”
She answered with a simple yet pushing statement. “Research about it.”
Well actually, i admit i did not immediately type his name in the Google search box upon hearing those words. But when i further browsed my news feed, i saw this somewhat word doodle (i don’t know the right term) image by Candy Magazine quoting “It always seems impossible until it is done” from him, it kept me curiously staring at it. So upon searching and reading articles about him, he isn’t just any other president.
Apparently, he was arrested 2 times for trying to abolish apartheid. The first where he wasn’t found guilty and the second, he lasted for 27 years in more than 3 different prisons. It was said that Mandela contributed a lot in negotiating with freeing his country from apartheid through to democracy and for this, and for that, the Nobel Peace Prize of 1993 was his. He became president in 1994, and from then on he achieved more.
Surely, there is a lot more interesting things about Nelson Mandela which is not familiar to me, but in a very truthful way, he is a hero. Rest in Peace Mandela.

The most dreaded day of the week.
This is the day I typically go to church.
This is the day where I leave home(and the scrumptious home-cooked meals), for 5 days.
This is the day where i consider travelling risky.
This is the day I sit next to another stranger and hope that nothing goes wrong.
And once I step upon those pavements, I enter another week of my life.
This is the day where I stay up all night to rush the homework i haven’t done yesterday.
The day where I are told over and over again to sleep early. But again, I don’t.
This is my Sunday.
There are those moments when you’ve been avoiding your best friend because of a thing that happened which you’re so guilty of…
And when you finally gain the confidence to confront him/her about it, it so happens that your best friend already knows… -___-
